Helen Lee

Helen Lee (they/she) is a Chicago-born, Queer Asian interdisciplinary artist whose parents immigrated from South Korea. They lead Momentum Sensorium, a project-based company formed in 2007 that has staged site-specific works in places such as lighthouses and train stations. Their work centers on the senses, death, and the interplay of light and shadow, joy and grief. They have held residencies at Ragdale and other Chicago organizations.
