Hyeji Nam

Hyeji Nam is a Seoul-born (1993) artist, musician and researcher based in Vienna. Her interdisciplinary practice combines performance, sound, installation and technology. She was the selected SODAS 2123 resident for summer 2025. Her work uses voice processing, AI-generated sound and gesture-responsive interfaces to explore queer, embodied and transcultural memory. Her piece MANSHIN reworks the Korean shamanic Gut ritual as a shared trance space.
