Hyun Cho

Hyun Cho is a Seoul-born artist (b. 1982) who works between Italy and South Korea. Known for text-based sculpture, LED panels, and neon works that draw on punk lyrics and pop culture. Trained at the University of Sydney and Parsons in New York, where Cho received an MFA in 2012. Cho has shown in Milan, Como, Parma, Venice, Baltimore, Melbourne, and Brooklyn. Cho has taken part in Viafarini residencies in Milan. The 2021 group exhibition The Castle of Crossed Destinies in Porto drew on a residency there.
