Idris Hassan

Idris Hassan is a Bay Area photographer, visual artist, and cultural documentarian who works across photography, collage, and video. In 2016 she took part in an artist residency at Green Olive Arts in Tetouan, Morocco, where she produced the mixed-media series 'From Kemet to Cotton: Sankofa.' Her other work includes a documentary film on Bay Area hip-hop and a co-edited book on the 2020 COVID rebellions.
