Isa Carillo

Isa Carillo is an artist born in 1982 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her work investigates hidden and enigmatic aspects of the collective unconscious and critically examines pseudosciences applied to individuals. She gathers personal files, photographs and graphic material, which she uses as starting points for projects that bridge memory, form and the invisible. Carillo was a past resident of Unlisted Projects, where she developed 'The Spirit of the Phenomenon' using numerology to build a portrait of the Museum of Human Achievement.
