Jack Wiler

Jack Wiler was a poet who grew up in New Jersey and lived in Jersey City until his death in 2009. He was diagnosed with AIDS in 2001 and spent his last years writing and teaching students about poetry. Before that, he worked for many years in pest control and for Long Shot Magazine. He also served as a visiting poet in schools with the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. His two collections, Fun Being Me (2006) and Divina Is Divina (2010), were published by CavanKerry Press, which describes Divina Is Divina as posthumous.
