James Kenyon

James Kenyon grew up on a family farm near Bogue, Kansas, and later became a veterinarian with a mixed animal practice in Iowa. He also works as a veterinarian for the Alaska Iditarod Dog Sled Race. Alongside his veterinary career he has served 24 years on a local school board and is active in several community organizations. His books with Meadowlark Press include the farm memoir A Cow for College and the 2024 interview collection The Immigrant Next Door.
