Java Jones

Java Jones is an artist who works across sculpture, painting, and image making, using what the artist calls an anti-disciplinary approach. Their practice moves between figuration and abstraction and draws on autobiography, quiet photography, and haptic memory. They were a Pioneer Works Technology Residency artist in Fall 2023 and are preparing a monograph titled "on the edge of a dream: one last dance with/in flesh."
