Jeanne Tresvaux du Fraval
Jeanne Tresvaux du Fraval is a French artist and designer who works across drawing, objects, installations, clothing and stage sets. Her practice often draws on archives, territory and local materials. She trained in fine arts and at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In 2018 she co-founded Studio de Lostanges with her sister Louise, a Brittany-based clothing project built on local resources and a yearly collection. She has two studios, in Paris and on the Brittany coast. She took part in a 2020 residency at Domaine de Boisbuchet with Margaus Ballagny, as the artist duo Ballagny and Tresvaux du Fraval, exploring food self-sufficiency and materials found on site.
