Jenson Leonard

Jenson Leonard is a visual artist and poet born in 1990 in Detroit, Michigan, whose work often critiques the internet and techno-capitalism. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Pratt Institute. He teaches in the Media Study Department at the University at Buffalo. Leonard completed a residency at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, where he made the film Workflow in 2021. His first institutional solo exhibition of that name ran there from July to September 2023. Earlier residencies include Obracadobra in Oaxaca and Squeaky Wheel in Buffalo.
