Jessica Straus

Jessica Straus is a sculptor who makes inventive objects and installation art. Her work includes carved wood pieces and map-based art. She grew up near the coast of Maine, which has influenced her recent work. In February 2022 she was an artist in residence at Surf Point Foundation in York, Maine, where she began a new body of work inspired by the local landscape and seascape. Her work was later shown in the 2023 Surf Point alumni exhibition at the George Marshall Store Gallery in York.
