Jiaxi Han

Jiaxi Han is an artist who took part in a residency at the Bibliothek Andreas Züst in St. Anton, Appenzell. During the four weeks there, she made about 150 small ink sketches on Chinese rice paper, combining imagery such as crop circles and weather signs with Miao and Appenzeller patterns. She also wrote short poems and practiced ensō. Her residency report was published by the library in November 2024, and some of the sketches were planned for a group show at Bacio Collective Bern.
