Joan Wyand

Joan Wyand is a Providence-based artist who works across ceramics, glass, steel sculpture, fabric, and performance. She has a BFA in ceramics from RISD (2005) and an MFA from IU's Herron School of Art + Design (2022-24). Her Steel Yard ties include the inaugural Ceramics Cooperative Fellowship in 2008 and a 2014 residency listing. In 2012 she made a steel sculpture with Sophia Academy students for Mashapaug Pond.
