Joe Barrington

Joe Barrington is a full-time sculptor from Throckmorton, Texas, who works in found objects, welded steel and other materials. He is interested in how people affect the natural world and explores that through his subjects and materials. In 2014 he was an artist in residence at the Wrangell Mountains Center in McCarthy, Alaska, where he built a community public art piece. His welded steel longhorn, Rusty (2008), is held by the Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas.
