John James Perangie

John James Perangie is a multidisciplinary queer artist working mainly in painting, sculpture and textiles. Their work often reworks existing objects and materials and draws on pop culture. They are based around Middlesbrough and have shown with The Auxiliary and other regional projects. Perangie is a former student of The Northern College of Art. Their solo show REFASHION opened at Pineapple Black Art Gallery in Middlesbrough in April.
