Jonathan Bennett

Jonathan Bennett is a Canadian novelist and poet who has published several novels, poetry collections, and a short story collection. His 2014 novel The Colonial Hotel and his 2018 poetry book Happinesswise were both published by ECW Press. He has also worked in hospital communications, which informed some of his writing. His short story collection Verandah People was runner-up for the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, and he has won the K.M. Hunter Artists' Award in Literature. He appeared in The Ex-Puritan's Summer 2014 issue with a poem and an interview.
