Jonathan González

Jonathan González is a performance artist based in Philadelphia and Queens, NY, working in dance and live art. Their practice draws on Black study, site-specific work, and choreography. They were a Loghaven Artist Residency artist in the Dance discipline, listed for 2021 on the Loghaven pages. Their earlier support includes fellowships and grants from the Jerome Foundation, Mertz Gilmore, Art Matters, and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, along with residencies at LMCC and NARS Foundation. Their writing has appeared in outlets including EAR | WAVE | EVENT, Contemporaryand, and Cultured Magazine.
