Josh Baum

Josh Baum is an English artist of Jewish heritage who trained in Hebrew calligraphy over many years, including the study needed to become a sofer, or Torah scribe. He was in residence at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice in 2015. There he took part in the New Venice Haggadah project, contributing etchings to the illustrated edition. The book was published by Edizioni Damocle, and his work focuses on the relationship between mysticism and art, according to a 2016 Moked article.
