Julia Levine

Julia B. Levine is a poet whose work often juxtaposes the natural world with human suffering. Her chapbook Lullaby for the Sixth Extinction, published by Wolfson Press in 2025, won the 2024 Wolfson Press Poetry Chapbook Prize. It deals with caring for her infant grandson through cancer treatment. She has earned several awards, including the 2015 Northern California Book Award and a 2024 Pushcart Prize.
