Julian Pozzi

Julian Pozzi is a New York City painter who holds a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MFA from CalArts. He has had solo shows at 1234 Gallery, Jeff Bailey Gallery, and Songs For Presidents, and is a current member of The Painting Center. His recent paintings draw on online images of naturist resorts and hotels, rendered in a gridded, formal language that mixes mosaic, drawing, and science fiction. He was a summer 2022 resident at Popps Packing, where he showed new paintings and drawings in an August 2022 exhibition.
