Julie Weiss

Julie Weiss is a poet originally from Foster City, California, who has lived in Spain since 2001. She holds a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from San Jose State University. Her poems have appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies, including Sky Island Journal, where she has been published in several issues. She is the author of the poetry collection The Places We Empty and two chapbooks, and her second collection, Rooming with Elephants, came out in 2025.
