Julio Rizhi

Julio Rizhi is a Zimbabwean sculptor and mixed-media artist born in 1991 in Mbare, Harare. He trained at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe's Visual Art Studio before pursuing an experimental path. His sculptures are built from discarded plastic and mesh wire, often read as 'plastiglomerates'. He presented work with Takunda Regis Billiat at the Cape Town Art Residency, where the Latitudes review and ART AFRICA covered the duo show.
