Kara Vernor

Kara Vernor is a writer of short and flash fiction. Her stories have appeared in a long list of literary magazines, including Oyez Review and Okay Donkey. Her story "B is for Balls" ran in Okay Donkey in January 2020, and her story "Am I" ran in Oyez Review in April 2021. Her flash chapbook, Because I Wanted to Write You a Pop Song, is from Split Lip Press. She has received an Elizabeth George Foundation scholarship, and her work has been included in Wigleaf's Top 50 and Best Small Fictions.
