KARIAN AMAYA

Karian Amaya is a Guadalajara-based visual artist whose sculpture, drawing, and photography examine how natural resource extraction and landscape transformation shape social and territorial contexts. Her practice draws on Land Art and Post-Minimalism. She was an artist-in-residence with CALA Alliance in Phoenix in 2019, where she researched the Sonoran Desert and its connections to Guadalajara.
