Karl Kempton

Karl Kempton is a visual and lexical poet who has made text-based glyphs, which he calls typoglifs, since working on a typewriter. He later moved to computer composition and added photographic elements. His work is described as appearing in about four dozen books and at least 70 anthologies. His 2021 collection intimate h&s, published by Post-Asemic Press, gathers visual poems from 1995 to 2013.
