Kate Ovaska

Kate Ovaska is a visual artist and photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her large-format photographs and light installations address family structures, adoption, and intimate relationships. She holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and an MFA from Columbia University. She was a past visual arts resident at Pioneer Works, where she continued a series of large-format photographs inspired by phosphenes.
