Katherine Durham Oldmixon Garza

Katherine Durham Oldmixon Garza is a Texas poet, scholar, and visual artist based in Austin. She is professor emerita at Huston-Tillotson University and directs the Poetry at Round Top Festival. Her debut collection, Life Afterlife / A Book of the Hours, was published by 3: A Taos Press in 2024. Her poems and photographs have appeared in magazines and anthologies, and she has served as a senior poetry editor for Tupelo Quarterly. She also works as an ecological gardener and makes watercolor, mosaic, and mixed-media art.
