Kathryn Maguire

Kathryn Maguire is a visual artist and educator who works in Sligo, with a practice spanning sculpture, text, video and installation. Her work links geology, mining, materials and deep time with contemporary questions about the circular economy and climate. She combines sculpture with educational facilitation and socially engaged projects. She was a resident at Interface in Inagh, and her residency exchange took her to Pasaj in Istanbul and to Leitrim Sculpture Centre. Her Leitrim residency in 2024 led to the solo show 'To the Mountain'.
