Keith Pilapil Lesmeister

Keith Pilapil Lesmeister is a fiction writer and nonfiction writer based in Iowa's Driftless region. He holds an M.F.A. from the Bennington Writing Seminars and edits Cutleaf. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in a range of literary journals and magazines. His fiction chapbook Mississippi River Museum (WTAW Press, 2023) follows an out-of-work mechanic who inherits an unfinished cabin in a river town and befriends a twelve-year-old boy. His story collection We Could've Been Happy Here was first published by MG Press in 2017 and reissued by EastOver Press in 2023.
