Kelly Bond
Kelly Bond is a New Orleans-based somatic practitioner working across experimental dance, choreography, directing, yoga, and pedagogy. She is an adjunct assistant professor of dance at Tulane University, where she earned an MFA. She also holds an MA from Laban in London. With collaborator Ellery Burton, she uses experimental performance to explore attention, intimacy, and presence. Her recent work extends these ideas into environmental settings. In 2024-25 she developed a practice called Embodying Ecology while working with a Tulane program in Ecuador. She is a 2027 Scholarly Retreat resident at A Studio in the Woods, where she plans to develop Embodying Ecology as a shareable approach to ecological learning.
