Kelly Michels

Kelly Michels is a poet based in Raleigh, North Carolina, who also teaches at several colleges. Her chapbook Disquiet won the 2015 Jacar Chapbook Prize, judged by Jamaal May. Her poems have appeared in Best New Poets 2012, Green Mountains Review, Nimrod, and Redivider. She published an earlier chapbook, Mother and Child with Flowers, in 2013.
