Ken Johnson

Ken (Kendall) Johnson is a psychotherapist, artist, and writer who has worked as a firefighter, psychologist, and teacher. He is a Vietnam War veteran whose paintings and poetry address his combat experience and PTSD. In 2018 he co-created the book A Sublime and Tragic Dance with poet John Brantingham, published by Cholla Needles Arts & Literary Library, which pairs poetry and paintings on the 1945 Trinity test. His poetry collection Fireflies Against Darkness was reviewed by Cultural Daily.
