Kendra Fortmeyer

Kendra Fortmeyer is a writer whose fiction has appeared in One Story, The Toast, PANK, and Black Warrior Review, among other outlets. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best American Nonrequired Reading. She has an MFA from UT Austin and edits fiction for Broad! Magazine. Awst Press published a chapbook by her and featured her work in 2015. Her stories often blend fairy-tale whimsy with libraries and young people, and her 2019 science fiction story 'No Matter' came out of the Clarion workshop.
