Kim Kennedy Austin

Kim Kennedy Austin is a Vancouver-based artist born in Waterloo, Ontario, who works with drawing, craft techniques, and found objects. Her practice examines how 20th-century advertising and popular culture create myth and meaning. She graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2001. She has held residencies at the Burrard Arts Foundation and The Sointula Art Shed.
