KRISTINA SMITH

Kristina Smith is a multimedia artist, writer, and performer whose work explores memory, generational trauma, and cultural erasure. Their recent work addresses late-stage capitalism, queer identity, mental illness, and the exploitation of the working class. They have been working in improvisational performance, sound, and magic, and are interested in sound and performance as a form of healing, especially folk music. Smith was a Cedars Union studio artist in Cohort 1 and recently completed a residency there.
