Laken Brooks

Laken Brooks is a PhD English student at the University of Florida who studies technology, art, and healthcare. She previously held a Fulbright ETA grant at the University of Szczecin in Poland and was a Scholar-in-Residence for the nonprofit iGIANT. Brooks is from rural Appalachia, and her writing has appeared in CNN, Atlas Obscura, Good Housekeeping, Farmer-ish, and Forbes.
