Lara Dahlmann

Lara Dahlmann is a German visual artist based in Hamburg who works with paper, drawing, and site-specific installation. Her work is shaped by time spent in Trinidad, particularly the Caroni Swamp and the tropical landscape. She has held residencies in Trinidad, Buenos Aires, Curaçao, and Cape Town. She was an artist in residence at Alice Yard in Port of Spain in 2015 and returned for a residency in late 2024 and early 2025. Her 2015 residency ended with an open studio of drawings and a mural, and her 2025 residency with the installation 'Swamp Nights'.
