Laura Coco

Laura Coco is an audiologist and researcher who directs the CERCA Lab and teaches at San Diego State University's School of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Her work focuses on hearing healthcare models and community-based interventions that improve communication for people with hearing loss. She has done community-based participatory research on access to hearing aids, including with Spanish-speaking older adults and agricultural workers. She previously trained as a postdoctoral fellow at OHSU and at CIVIC, a VA-affiliated center in Portland.
