Laura LaFave

Laura LaFave is a drawing and mixed-media artist born in Washington, D.C., who holds an M.F.A. in painting and drawing from the University of Arizona. She has worked as a teacher, counselor, principal, and dean. In 2022 she was an artist-in-residence at Tusen Takk Foundation in Michigan, where she made the collaborative Under One Roof series with photographer Joseph Labate, her husband.
