Lauren Godfrey

Lauren Godfrey is a London-based artist born in the UK in 1989. Her work often blends sculpture with furniture and useful objects, such as fountains and sundials, combined with patterned, post-modern forms. She invites viewers to interact with the pieces or to pause beside them. She studied Fine Art in the Department of Sculpture at the Slade School of Fine Art (2008–2012) after a foundation course at Chelsea College of Art. Her public commissions include a permanent installation at Newham Hospital in London and a mural at De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill.
