Lawrence Calver

Lawrence Calver is a London-based textile artist, born in 1992, who works with recycled linen, wool and cotton. He stitches, dyes, bleaches and stains found fabrics, letting their previous use show through. He trained in fashion creative direction at London College of Fashion. He completed a residency at the Cape Town Art Residency in 2022, where he worked on the series later shown as Infinitely Gentle. His solo shows include Terra Firma at Carvalho Park in New York and several shows at De Brock in Knokke, Belgium.
