Le’Andra LeSeur
Le'Andra LeSeur is an artist who works in video, spoken word, glass sculpture, and painting. Her 2024 exhibition Monument Eternal at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn centered on Stone Mountain, Georgia, and the effects of racist monuments on Black communities. The show was her first institutional solo presentation in New York. Her work often uses her own body in performance, including slow-motion falls on the mountain's peak, to address historical violence and healing. The exhibition later traveled to Pittsburgh with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
