Lee Suet Ying

Lee Suet-Ying is a visual artist who holds a master's degree in visual art from Hong Kong. Her recent work examines how people create a sense of place in different kinds of spaces, drawing on daily observation of places and objects. During her residency at Buinho in Messejana, she was inspired by the local landscape and the history of the Forma factory. She reworked two early Forma products, combining conventional woodworking with CNC milling.
