Lin Qiqing

Lin Qiqing is a New York-based textile artist who works with hand-spun paper yarn, natural dyes and hand looms. She was a journalist in China before switching to textiles. Her figurative tapestries and installations explore gender, immigration, language and politics. She was one of the artists in Residency Unlimited's 2024 NYC-Based Artist Residency Program.
