Lindsey Drury

Lindsey Drury is a performance artist, dancer, and choreographer from New York who is based in Berlin. Her work creates systems that rethink how bodies move and are perceived. She also works as an historian and performance studies scholar. Drury holds a PhD from Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Kent and works as a postdoc in Critical Dance Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research covers dance, colonial history, and the ethnological archive. Her artistic practice has been supported by residencies at Pioneer Works and other New York organizations.
