Lisa Marie Barber

Lisa Marie Barber is a visual artist who makes ceramic sculptures, installations, and mixed-media quilts. Her work draws on Mexican and Central American folk art and the religious shrines of her Tucson upbringing. She is a professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was a visual artist resident at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City in February 2019.
