Lisa Ramirez

Lisa Ramirez is an actor and playwright whose work has been widely produced in the United States. Her play TO THE BONE ran to sold-out audiences at Cherry Lane Theatre in New York and the Oakland Theater Project, and was a finalist for several playwriting awards in 2011. She is a Literary Arts Fellow in Montalvo Arts Center's Lucas Artists Residency Program, with a residency listed for October 2026. Two new plays are in progress, one about Dolores Huerta and one about people living with dementia.
