Liz Hafey

Liz Hafey is a ceramic artist, transdisciplinary conceptual artist, writer, and activist based in Providence, Rhode Island. She was a fellow at The Steel Yard in 2017 and later taught a wheel-throwing course there. Her pottery explores how nature reclaims human-made structures, which she describes as a kind of alchemy. She trained at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and UMass Dartmouth, and was the Salad Days Artist at Watershed Ceramics Arts Center in 2015-16.
