Louise Whelan

Louise Whelan is a research-based artist, photographer and oral historian. Her work examines lived experience, cultural memory and the visibility of women's histories. She is the lead artist on the Women in Space Oral History and Photographic Project with the National Library of Australia. During a residency with All That We Are in May 2026, she plans to develop new work on that collection, in consultation with specialists in space medicine and extreme environments.
