Lucía Grompone

Lucía Grompone is a product and industrial designer and illustrator from Uruguay. She has worked on design at denwerk GmbH and currently works on the innovation team at the German toy company Ravensburger. She was a resident at Domaine de Boisbuchet in France, where she developed watercolour illustrations into larger fabric and stitched pieces. Her work builds an imagined world of countries and islands defined by maps and flags. Her Boisbuchet map was included in a 2022 Frac Centre-Val de Loire exhibition.
